Police reports: Westmont for week of Sept. 11

Information in Police Reports is obtained from the Westmont Police Department. Individuals listed in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

Drug charge

Mark Rupp, 34, of 627 Citadel Drive, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Ogden Avenue about 2:10 a.m. Aug. 30. He was also cited for no front registration plate.

DUI charge

Aaron Reilly, 26, 5617 Pershing Ave., was charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Burlington Avenue about 1:25 a.m. Aug. 31. He was also cited for speeding.

Property damage reported

• Sometime between 3 p.m. Aug. 28 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 29, a door was reported damaged in the 100 block of West 63rd Street. The total damage is $100.

• Sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Aug. 31, a mailbox was reported damaged in the 100 block of West Chicago Avenue. The total damage is $60.

• Sometime between 7 p.m. Aug. 30 and 10:45 a.m. Aug. 31, a stone was reported thrown through a window in the 0-100 block of Piers Drive. The total damage is $450.

Domestic battery charge

Donald Sickmier, 35, of 205 Rainer Ave. #1, Joliet, was charged with domestic battery after he struck a family member in the 0-100 block of West 60th Street about 1:50 p.m. Aug. 27.

License violations

• Vidal Tellez-Villalbela, 24, of 414 Richmond Ave., was charged with driving without a driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Ogden Avenue about 7:10 a.m. Aug. 29. He was also cited for suspended registration.

• Juan Hernandez, 21, of 2827 S. 49 St., #1, Cicero, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Ogden about 1:05 a.m. Aug. 31. He was also cited for improper lighting.

• Antonio Solis, 52, of 4623 South Keeler Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving with suspended driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Ogden Avenue about 4:10 a.m. Sept. 1. He was also cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
