Police reports: Downers Grove for Sept. 4

Theft reported

A coolant reservoir was reported stolen from a vehicle’s engine compartment as it was parked between 10 p.m. Aug. 12 and 7 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 20 block of Tower Court. The coolant reservoir was taken by cutting a hole in the driver’s-side front corner of the vehicle’s bumper. There are no suspects. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

Property damage reported

A village worker reported that someone poured soap into the Main Street Depot fountain, 1000 Burlington Ave., between 2:30 and 5 a.m. Aug. 26. There are no suspects.

DUI charges

• James A. Dollard, 53, 1470 Arrow Wood Lane, Downers Grove, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the life or health of a child at 8:50 p.m. Aug. 27.

• Emily C. Muenzer, 17 Mashie Court, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 11:55 p.m. Aug. 26 at Belmont Road and Curtiss Street.

Marijuana

possession charged

Nicholas J. Maes-Ladner, 27, 4140 Elm St., Downers Grove, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and disobeying a traffic control device at 11:49 p.m. Aug. 27 at Elm Street and Ogden Avenue.
