West Suburban Community Pantry plans events for Hunger Action Month

WOODRIDGE – The West Suburban Community Pantry is asking Woodridge residents for help during Hunger Action Month.

The movement, which lasts throughout the month of September, has a Hunger Hits Home theme this year.

The pantry, 6809 Hobson Valley Drive, Unit 118, is offering a few ways to help which include donating blood at Buffalo Wild Wings, 6450 Rt. 53, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 4, and a Home Run Inn Dock Sale, 1300 Internationale Parkway, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 13.
