Lanes reopen after crash on I-88 near Midwest Road on Thursday

OAKBROOK TERRACE – The two left lanes of eastbound I-88 were reopened shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday morning after being closed for more than an hour as emergency crews cleaned up a crash that happened just east of Midwest Road.

According to state police, the call of a crash came in at 6:48 a.m. and two people were transported to a hospital for what was believed to be minor injuries.

The lanes were reopened at 8:07 a.m.
