ADDISON – An Addison-based organization dedicated to heroin awareness and support will host a Walk-A-Thon.

The Miceli family and their friends founded the LTM Heroin Awareness and Support Foundation after 24-year-old Louie Miceli overdosed on heroin last year.

The first annual Walk-A-Thon will feature a resource fair, live music and door prizes. Tickets for children 13 and under are free. Adults receive a free t-shirt with their $25 ticket, and additional shirts are available for $15. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Sept. 29 and the Walk-A-Thon steps off at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Park in Bloomingdale.

Visit www.ltmfoundation.org for tickets or more information.
