Third annual Run and Walk for Prostate Cancer Awareness planned for Sept. 8 in Westmont

WESTMONT – The third annual Run and Walk for Prostate Cancer Awareness race will be held from 8 a.m. to noon. Sept. 8.

Hosted by the Chicago Prostate Center, 815 Pasquinelli Drive, the race includes a 3K walk and 5K run. Dogs and baby strollers are welcome at the race as well. Registration is $15 for adults and kids.

The event will also include raffles and prize give-aways for registered participants. The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago uses the funds raised for free cancer scans, medical research studies, public education and public awareness.
