Girls volleyball preview: RB Bulldogs healthy heading into season
RIVERSIDE – After an injury-riddled season, the Riverside Brookfield girls volleyball team is hoping a healthier roster will lead to more success.
Senior returners Amy Frey and Amanda Lelivelt are expected to lead the RB squad this season, but the Bulldogs will receive a boost in the form of senior outside hitter Monica Kasper, who missed the 2012 season with a knee injury and will be making her varsity debut this fall. Coach Dan Bonarigo expects her to be one of the leaders of the team.
Frey also missed some time last season with a back injury and will lead the offense as the setter. Lelivelt is a three-year starter in the middle.
