LEMONT – With several submissions supporting each candidate, the Keepataw Days Festival Committee decided to have two grand marshals for this year's Labor Day parade: Lemont Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners Chairman Gary Krueger and Lemont Township Supervisor Steven Rosendahl.

Krueger is a former volunteer fireman and longtime member of the Lemont Heritage Commission. He has been in every Keepataw Days parade except for one, but this will be his first time as grand marshal.

Rosendahl has been the township supervisor for more than eight years and was a village trustee for eight years.

The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. Monday. For more information on Keepataw Days, visit keepatawdaysfestival.com.
