DuPage Convalescent Center celebrates 125th anniversary Aug. 28

WHEATON – A longtime county asset celebrated its 125th anniversary on Aug. 28, according to a DuPage County Board news release.

The DuPage Convalescent Center, originally a shelter for the homeless, provides long term care and rehabilitative services to DuPage residents. It is a 360-bed rehab center that treats residents, regardless of income, according to the release. 75 percent of its residents are Medicaid funded.
