Snowball program receives award

LA GRANGE – The Operation Snowball drug prevention program at Lyons Township High School received the Outstanding School Support of the Year award from the program’s board of directors.

Operation Snowball is a youth and adult partnership that provides awareness and prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, while encouraging healthy decision-making. 

LT’s program, now in its 25th year, organizes retreats in the fall and spring. LT Snowball co-directors are Angie Patel, David Stormont and Jeanne Widing.
