WOODRIDGE – Orbus Exhibit & Display Group is planning a move out of Bolingbrook and into Woodridge.

The company, which specializes in manufacturing and supplying tradeshow exhibits, displays, banner stands and more, is planning to break ground on a new, 350,000-square-foot facility on 20 acres of land in the Union Pointe business park in Woodridge near Interstate 355 and I-55.

While the development must receive approval from the village of Woodridge, a lease has been agreed upon between Orbus and Union Pointe owners.

The building is expected to be completed by June 2014.

The company's facilities in Bolingbrook, 380 Veterans Way, and Niles will close. Roughly 180 jobs will be moved from the Bolingbrook location to Woodridge, media reports said.

A ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27.
