LISLE – A Lisle man faces battery charges after allegedly striking a person with a "club-like object" after an argument.

Adam P. Roser, 29, of 5113 Lincoln Ave., was charged with felony aggravated battery and unlawful use of a weapon after police responded to a call in the 4700 block of Main Street, around 8:54 p.m. Aug. 21, according to police.

Roser allegedly got into an argument at an apartment, was told to leave and then returned with a metal, police-like baton and struck a person after barging down the door, police said.

The victim sustained a severe laceration on his head and a broken finger as a result of being struck with the club-like object, according to police.

Roser also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, police said.
