Former Blackhawks, Bears players to attend Oak Brook polo game

OAK BROOK – Two former Chicago Blackhawks stars and one former Chicago Bears star will be appearing at the Oak Brook polo match from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday for "Chicago Sports Day."

Appearances will be made by former Blackhawks Stan Mikita and Ab McDonald, as well as former Bears tackle James “Big Cat” Williams.

Both Mikita and McDonald helped win a Stanley Cup Championship for the Blackhawks in 1961. Williams started 134 consecutive games throughout his professional tenure with the Bears. Williams was also the recipient of the Bears’ Brian Piccolo award following the 2001 season.

Mikita and McDonald will not be signing autographs, and Williams will be available for limited autographs and photos.

General admission and VIP tickets are still available online at oak-brook.org/polo.
