Elmhurst resident wins 4-H award at state fair

ELMHURST – Alexander Ford of Elmhurst won a superior honor at the Illinois State Fair 4-H competition last week.

He won for his Beginning Programming work. Ford and eight other DuPage County competitors received Superior honors in other project categories. Superior honors were given at the discretion of judges as special recognition for outstanding projects.

Awards of Excellence were presented to ten other 4-H competitors from DuPage County whose projects earned them a trip to the Illinois State Fair.
