Two LT seniors score perfect 36 on ACT

LA GRANGE – Two Lyons Township High School seniors scored a perfect 36 on the ACT college admission and placement exam this year.

Marko Kostich, of Burr Ridge, and Michael Forberg, of Western Springs, each earned a perfect score on the exam. Among the more than 1.8 million class of 2013 graduates who took the exam, 1,162 earned a perfect 36.

Kostich is entering his fourth year as a member of the LT math team and Business Professionals of America, and his third year as a member of Scholastic Bowl and the LT Hall of Fame Committee. He is also a member of National Honor Society.

Kostich plays volleyball for Sports Performance and volunteers at La Grange Memorial Hospital. He hopes to study pre-medicine and play volleyball at Harvard.

Forberg is captain of the Scholastic Bowl team and a member of LT's Latin Club, Community Advisory Council and National Honor Society. He is an Eagle Scout in Troop 117 and hopes to study business or engineering.
