Lemont Juniorettes welcoming new members with ice cream social

LEMONT – The Lemont Juniorettes, a service group for girls ages 12 to 18, will hold an ice cream social for prospective members from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Lemont Safety Village, 55 Stephen St.

The Juniorettes are involved with community service projects, including: face painting at Kops N Kidz, tie-dyeing T-shirts with children at the Hope & Friendship Pool Party, making dinners at Ronald McDonald House and organizing clothes in the H.O.P.E. Closet.

The group also has social events and fundraisers during the year.
