Hinsdale man charged with drug possession, intent to deliver

HINSDALE – After an accidental drug bust made by the Hinsdale Police Department in January, the 23-year-old suspect turned himself into police on Friday.

Roger Clarke of Hinsdale was charged Aug. 16 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of ecstasy with intent to deliver in the 100 block of West 2nd Street.

At 12:15 p.m. Jan. 4, police were dispatched to Clarke's house for a report of a residential burglary. While investigating the burglary report, police located marijuana, LSD, mushrooms, ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia in the suspect’s bedroom closet.

A warrant was obtained for the suspect's arrest following lab analysis of the substances and Clarke turned himself in around 3 p.m. Friday.
