Downers Grove's Kevin Sullivan earns two top-10s at diving nationals

DOWNERS GROVE – Kevin Sullivan is rising to the top of his sport by allowing gravity to pull him down.

Sullivan, a Downers Grove resident and competitor for Windy City Diving, qualified for the finals of the 1- and 3- meter events in the 12-13 age group at the Junior Age Group National Championships.

Competing at the University of Minnesota, Sullivan scored  a 261.30 and was second among 26 divers at the 1-meter height and place seventh out of 23 divers in the 3-meter group with a score of 261.55.
