DARIEN – St. John Lutheran Church, located at 7214 South Cass Ave. in Darien, recently installed new lettering and the school logo on its Early Learning Center wing. It was part of a facility upgrade and marketing plan supported by the congregation and an anonymous donor.

Since 1969, the church has been providing state-licensed Christ-centered early childhood education focused on the academic, spiritual, social, emotional and physical development in children, according to a church news release. The Early Learning Center offers a wide range of half-day and full-day programs to meet the preschool and kindergarten needs of children who are almost 3 through age 5.

A parent-and-tot class is available for 2 year olds.
