DuPage County NAACP to host College Readiness and Scholarship Fair

The DuPage County NAACP will be hosting a College Readiness and Scholarship fair, including scholarship agencies, volunteer opportunities and workshops, according to an organization news release.

On Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1p.m., a variety of events for potential students of varying ages will be available at Naperville High School at 440 Aurora Ave. in Naperville.

Activities include a town hall meeting hosted by superintendents, a special session for athletes, a parent university for adults hoping to receive resources to get their GED and post-secondary degrees and free school supplies.

Following the event will be the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics. Cash-only concessions will be available on-site. Registry is required.
