Bird author Crossley to speak at Cantigny Park Sept. 12

WHEATON – Birder, author and photographer Richard Crossley will lead a free presentation on birding on Sept. 12 in Wheaton's Cantigny Park, according to a news release from the DuPage Birding Club.

Crossley is the co-founder of the global birding initiative, Pledge to Fledge, and the Cape May Young Birders Club, according to the release, and has been a contributor to several major publications and radio programs. Crossley will host the presentation at Cantigny at 7:30 p.m. to talk about the future of birding and more as part of a mission to make birding and the outdoors more popular in the U.S., the release said.
