Glenbard West students win physics photo contest awards

GLEN ELLYN – Three Glenbard West High School students received top honors in the American Association of Physics Teachers’ photo contest.

Jaime Mathew took first place for "A Standing Wave," Christina Tran received third place for "For the Love of Books" and Trevor Jackson Light earned an honorable mention for "Icicle Frenzy."

The contest allows teachers and students to learn about physics by creating visual and written illustrations of physical concepts.
