GLEN ELLYN – Following the resignation of an administrator last month, Glenbard High School District 87 hopes to fill the position at the next Board of Education meeting, which will be held Aug. 26 after the district's first full day of classes.
Terri Hanrahan, who had worked in D-87 since July 2005, resigned July 16 from her position as teaching and learning coordinator and Title I facilitator, according to personnel reports.
While the district appointed current Glenbard East High School Dean Limaris Pueyo to fill the role of Title I coordinator beginning Aug. 22, the district would like the teaching and learning coordinator appointment to be included in the personnel report at the Aug. 26 meeting, said Peg Mannion, D-87 community relations coordinator.
Before working in a district-wide administrative role, Hanrahan held positions as Glenbard East High School assistant principal for instruction and Glenbard South High School principal. Her position as teaching and learning coordinator and Title I facilitator was a new one, as she had just begun the role July 1.
Hanrahan resigned to take a position in Plano School District 88, Mannion said.
