Stacy's Tavern Museum to offer free admission for military families

GLEN ELLYN – The Glen Ellyn Historical Society will offer free admission to Stacy's Tavern Museum for all active-duty military personnel and their families as part of the Blue Star Museum Program.

The offer will be available from Aug. 18 through Sept. 25.

Blue Star Museums is a collaborative project of the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 1,800 museums.

A complete list of participating museums is available at www.arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society’s military collection features various items, including a World War I flag created by the Glen Ellyn Women’s Club that will be on display for military families to see.
