Volunteers are needed for Woodridge Rotary's mini triathlon

WOODRIDGE – The Woodridge Rotary is need of volunteers for Sunday's 14th annual mini triathlon.

The rotary club is expecting about 1,000 participants at the weekend race. Volunteers are needed for check-in on Friday evening and Saturday, for the set-up Saturday night and for the course during the race Sunday.

For those who wish to volunteer, there is a mandatory meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Woodridge Park District, 2600 Center Dr. Along with the meeting, volunteers must fill out an application which can be found on the rotary club's website: woodridgerotary.org

The 14th annual mini triathlon will be at Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park, 8301 S. Janes Ave., with an adult race at 7 a.m. and a kids event at 10:30 a.m
