BOLINGBROOK – Local St. Baldrick's and Heart Haven Outreach (H20) charities will accept $6,120 checks during the Bolingbrook Village Board meeting Tuesday night.

The cumulative $12,240 was raised during the Stanley Cup showcase at the Bolingbrook Golf Club July 25, in which Chicago Blackhawks Senior Director of Team Services Tony Ommen brought the Cup to the golf club and allowed residents to have their picture taken for $20 a piece.

The generated proceeds were split among the two charities.

Both Ommen and Bolingbrook Golf Club General Manager Randy Farber will present the checks to representatives from H2O and St. Baldrick's during Tuesday's meeting.

The Bolingbrook Village Board meeting will convene at 8 p.m. Tuesday night at Bolingbrook Village Hall, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.
