DuPage County to host Community Garden Workshop Aug. 16

The DuPage County Environmental Committee will hold a Community Garden Workshop to recognize current community gardeners and provide information and resources to expand gardening efforts around the county, according to a news release from the DuPage County Board.

The event will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 at North Central College at 440 S. Brainard St. in Naperville. According to the release, DuPage is taking inventory of the community gardens around the county to support volunteers and provide resources to those interested in starting new gardens. The workshop will feature a number of different experts and explore a variety of topics.
