Bolingbrook has been full of exciting ribbon-cutting events in August.

The village of Bolingbrook and the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce have a strong and growing relationship to make sure new businesses to our Chamber are properly welcomed by residents, local business owners and community leaders.

We want to be sure the new business is connected to both our business and residential base to ensure successful longevity here in Bolingbrook. We work closely with village officials, including Mayor Roger C. Claar, to show our commitment to business in Bolingbrook.

Our ribbon-cutting events also are recorded and played on BCTV as well as linked to our Chamber’s YouTube Channel.

We welcomed the new Hardee’s to Bolingbrook on Thursday. Their menu is sure to entice you, including salads, burgers and breakfast.

We also welcomed Sears Hardware & Appliances to our Chamber on Tuesday.

Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital opens its Wound Care Center today. And finally, COTG moves into its new facility on Territorial Court on Aug. 16.

We want to thank all who came out in late July to enjoy the 2013 Taste of Bolingbrook.

Crowds were at record levels, and everyone enjoyed our new venue, The Promenade Bolingbrook. We clocked in well over 6,000 people who enjoyed our 12 food vendors, informational vendors, farmers market, a dedicated kids zone and live entertainment from Marrakesh Express (a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute band). Stay tuned to hear details on next year’s event.

Please keep in touch with us and give us your feedback on what you want to see communicated more and what resources are helpful to you.

We can be reached by phone at 630-226-8420 or email at info@bolingbrookchamber.org.
