Berwyn seeks volunteers to serve in emergency corps

BERWYN – The city of Berwyn, the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA and Berwyn Township are seeking residents interested in becoming a part of a new volunteer corps to assist first responders during emergencies.

An informational session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at J. Sterling Morton West High School, Room W101-103, 2400 Home Ave.

Information will also be available on becoming a member of the Cook County Medical Reserve Corps.
