Steven R. Kuch, 52, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged with supplying alcohol to a minor at 5:53 p.m. Aug. 2 at Gordon Park.
• John J. Borg, 65, of the 5800 block of South Nordica Avenue, Chicago, was arrested on a warrant at 3:21 p.m. Aug. 5 at 47th Street and Deyo Avenue.
• William R. Koonce, 22, of the 300 block of Beach Avenue in La Grange Park, was arrested on a warrant from La Grange during a traffic stop by Hinsdale Police in the 100 block of Symonds Drive at 12:51 a.m. Aug. 3.
• Bozena B. Plucinski, 32, of the 800 block of La Grange Park, was arrested on a warrant for failure to reduce speed to avoid
an accident at 7:11 p.m. Aug. 2.
Gang graffiti found at Gurrie Middle School
Gang-related graffiti was found on the sidewalk outside Gurrie Middle School at 9:10 a.m. Aug. 1. A portable toilet also was tipped over.
A man said he was jumped at Bluff and Calendar avenues and had his skateboard stolen. He reported the incident at 12:42 a.m. Aug. 3.
Man slaps car,
A man called police to report that his arm or elbow was injured when a car or the man driving it hit him. The driver of the car said he did not hit the man and that the man injured himself slapping the trunk of the car. The incident occurred at 10:51 a.m. Aug. 3
A residence in the 100 block of Seventh Avenue was egged Aug. 5.
LA GRANGE PARK
John R. Pena, 67, of the 1100 block of Loganbury Court, Elgin, was charged with speeding for driving 68 mph in a 30-mph zone at 9:20 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 900 block of La Grange Road.
Brent Troutman, 45, of the 11700 block of Burnley Drive, Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled him over for speeding at 1:47 a.m. Aug. 2 at Cermak and Mannheim roads.
Handicap sign stolen from car
A resident of the 2600 block of Somerset Drive said that someone stole a handicap placard and personal items from her vehicle between 7 p.m. July 28 and 8:30 a.m. July 29. She didn’t know whether the vehicle was locked.
Rear windows smashed
A resident in the 700 block of Hull Avenue reported that the rear window of his vehicle was smashed out between 6:30 p.m. July 29 and 6:10 a.m. July 30.
A resident in the 1300 block of Westchester Boulevard reported that the rear window of her vehicle was smashed out between 10:09 p.m. and 10:46 p.m. Aug. 4.
Candy L. Hornus, 39, of the 4600 block of Dubois Boulevard, Brookfield, was arrested on a warrant from Cook County when the vehicle she was a passenger in was pulled over because the registration was expired.
Insufficient check used to buy car
A man wrote a check to purchase a car from a dealership in the 5700 block of La Grange Road at 12:45 p.m. Aug. 2. The general manager of the dealership later learned that the account linked to the check had insufficient funds, costing the dealership $8,770.
Steel posts stolen from pipeline site
An employee for a pipeline company reported that 40 steel posts were stolen from a site on the north side of Plainfield Road just west of East Avenue at 9:10 a.m. July 31. The posts were valued at about $200.
Stacey L. Hruska, 26, of the 500 block of South State Street, Lockport, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery at 1:14 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 6100 block of La Grange Road.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Michael A. Reguera, 26, of the 100 block of South Hudson Street, Westmont, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia while being arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop at 55th Street and East Avenue at 3:31 a.m. Aug. 3.
Theft of services
A man left before paying for an oil change at a shop in the 5500 block of La Grange Road, the manager reported at 6:16 p.m. Aug. 2. The oil change cost $40.08.
