Local Dairy Queen stores participate in Miracle Treat Day, benefit children's hospitals

LOMBARD – Dairy Queen's treats will taste a little sweeter than usual Thursday as the ice cream stores across the country participate in Miracle Treat Day.

Throughout the day, $1 from every Blizzard treat purchased will go to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, including Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Local, participating Dairy Queen stores include the following:

• Dairy Queen, 211 E. St. Charles Road, Villa Park
• Dairy Queen, 205 S. Main St., Lombard
• Dairy Queen Limited Brazier, 841 E. Roosevelt Road, Lombard
