Trolley tour to showcase Sears homes, other historic Downers Grove places

DOWNERS GROVE – The Downers Grove Park District is inviting residents to take a ride on a two-hour trolley tour of Sears homes and other historic Downers Grove places from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 17.

It begins and ends at the Museum Annex, 831 Maple Ave.

Participants can view the Museum’s exhibits and enjoy light refreshments after the tour.Advanced registration is required. The resident fee is $25 and non-resident fee is $38. Visit dgparks.org to register today, or call the museum at 630-963-1309 for details.

The tour is organized by the Downers Grove Park District, in cooperation with the Downers Grove Economic Development Corporation and the Downers Grove Historical Society.
