Bridge Communities' Transitional Housing Program receives $25,000 grant

GLEN ELLYN – Bridge Communities in Glen Ellyn recently received a $25,000 grant from the Alfred Bersted Foundation to support the organization's Transitional Housing Program.

The program provides housing, mentoring and supportive services to more than 120 homeless families in DuPage County each year. The program's goal is to help each family achieve self-sufficiency, permanent housing and financial stability.

Bridge Communities will use the grant to support the daily operations of this program.
