Attention pet owners: New vet clinic to open
Are you tired of driving miles to see your vet or board your pet?
Soon, your drive can be a short, convenient trip. On July 24, the Countryside City Council unanimously approved a Planned Unit Development proposal for the construction of the Countryside Veterinary Center, a 20,000-square-foot, 24/7, full service animal hospital at 9825 W. 55th St.
The project will be a collaboration between three veterinarians with 90 years of combined experience at 10 Chicago area animal care hospitals and clinics. The project will provide state of the art clinical evaluations and treatments including diagnostics, on-site lab work, digital radiology, ultrasound and various dental and surgical procedures. Additional services will include animal emergency and critical care, physical and laser therapy, rehabilitation, a retail area, a day care, training, boarding and grooming. The project will provide 140 animal boarding suites, nine exam rooms, two surgical suites and one dental suite.
