Wheaton woman dies after fall from horse

A Wheaton woman was killed Monday, July 29, after falling from a horse near Oswego, Kendall County Sheriff’s police annouced.

Susan R. Kelly, 54, fell off a horse and hit her head at Judgement Farms, sustaining internal head injuries despite the helmet she was wearing, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Kelly was transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, where she died.

The Kane County coroner’s office is investigating.
