Incoming business holding career fair Thursday, Friday, creating 250 local jobs

LOMBARD – The Dump, a new furniture outlet coming to Lombard at the end of the month, is holding a career fair Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its store location, 2860 S. Highland Ave., the former site of The Great Indoors.

The store is scheduled to open Aug. 30 and will create 250 jobs in the community; 100 of these still need to be filled in the areas of sales, operations, management and inventory.

On-the-spot interviews will be done with candidates during the career fair, and employment applications are also available online at thedump.com.

The Dump is a Virginia-based furniture outlet that is making its arrival into the Illinois market with the opening of the Lombard store. The store is only open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
