DuPage County Stormwater Management is trying to educate county residents about the needs of the county's waterways through social media, according to a department news release.

Stormwater Management is taking to Twitter and Facebook in a new "Love Blue. Live Green." campaign to provide information about green infrastructure and best management practices, according to the release. Though the department has been trying to mitigate the effects of urban stormwater runoff, the release says, there is still room for residents to do more.

To learn more about the project, follow the campaign on Facebook at www.facebook.com/LoveBlueDupage or on Twitter @LoveBlueDupage
