BLOOMINGDALE – A man's body was discovered the afternoon of July 31 on Bloomingdale Road.
A passer-by called authorities at 2:45 p.m. July 31 to report that a man, who was later identified as Richard W. Kraszewski, 51 of Bloomingdale, was lying in the grass along Bloomingdale Road, according to Bloomingdale Deputy Police Chief Tim Roberts.
The preliminary results of the autopsy revealed that Kraszewski died of coronary atherosclerosis, according to the DuPage County Coroner's Office, although toxicology results are still pending.
"The coroner found that his death was not criminal," said Roberts. "It may have been natural."
Kraszewski was deceased when police found him. There is no evidence of foul play and no signs of trauma, according to Roberts.
