Warrenville residents to celebrate the season with Summer Daze Aug. 2-3

WARRENVILLE – Summer Daze is back Aug. 2 and 3 in downtown Warrenville near Route 56 and Batavia Road.

The two day festival will offer food, entertainment and family fun.

The fest will run from 5 until 11:30 p.m. Aug. 2, with food booths open from 5 to 11, inflatable rides from 5:30 to 9, business booths from 6 to 9 and musical performances from 6 to 11:30.

Acts include East Lincoln Avenue from 6 to 7, Fortunate Sons from 7:30 to 9 and Maggie Speaks from 9:30 to 11:30.

On Aug. 3, the fest will last from noon until 11:30 p.m.

Food booths will be open from noon to 11, business booths from noon to 6, inflatable rides from 3 to 9 and other kids' fun from 4 to 5 and 6:30 to 7:30.

Musical performances include a Battle of the Bands from 1 to 4 p.m., Denny Diamond from 5:30 to 7, Hillbilly Rockstarz from 7:30 to 9 and headliners Hi Infidelity from 9:30 to 11:30.
