Villa Park library seeking candiate to fill trustee vacancy

VILLA PARK – Applications are being accepted as the Villa Park Public Library seeks candidates to fill a vacancy on the library's Board of Trustees. The candidate will serve as a trustee until the April 7, 2015 regular election.

The candidate must be a Villa Park resident who is able to commit between six and nine hours of work each month to library board responsibilities.

Letters of interest can be sent to Sandra Hill, library director, and should include information about how long the applicant has lived in town, education background, current occupation, involvement in community organizations and why he or she would like to serve in the position. The deadline to apply is Sept. 1 and interviews will be scheduled after all applications are received.
