Truck rolls over after driver loses control on wet road

Jeremy Frederiksen, 19, of Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving too fast for the conditions and driving without insurance after his truck rolled over as he turned onto 31st Street from First Avenue at 1:05 p.m. Friday.

RIVERSIDE – The driver of a Ford Explorer lost control of his truck, causing it to roll over on the driver's side before coming to rest on the grass parkway to the side of the road. 

Jeremy Frederiksen, 19, of Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving too fast for the conditions and driving without insurance after the incident, which occurred at 1:05 p.m. July 26 as he turned his truck onto 31st Street from First Avenue. The road was wet from rain when he lost control of the truck. 

When police arrived at the scene, Frederiksen was sitting on the grass parkway where his truck rolled over. He refused medical treatment.
