LA GRANGE – Using LEGO pieces and Star Wars models, the Park District of La Grange's Space Adventures Camp teaches kids about real-life space exploration.

The camp, which runs Aug. 12 to 16, includes building models, group games, challenges and more. It aims to provide the imaginative spark and creativity that allows participants to experience a space adventure. All participants will take home a custom mini figure.

The camp is open for children ages 6 to 12. The cost is $130 for residents and $169 for non-residents.
