Helping Hand receives grant for facility improvements

COUNTRYSIDE – Helping Hand Center will receive a $25,000 grant for facility improvements from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

State Rep. Michael J. Zalewski, D-Riverside, helped secure the grant for the Countryside-based organization, which serves more than 700 children and adults with disabilities.
