It was a gorgeous night for a ball game when the Greater LaGrange YMCA hosted its fourth annual Chicago White Sox fundraiser benefitting the Y's Special Olympics. Despite the Sox loss, everyone had a good night especially knowing it was all for a good cause. The event raised $4,300 for the Special Olympics swim and bowling teams at the Greater LaGrange YMCA. The two teams provide 52 athletes with a place to thrive and grow while their parents can enjoy peace of mind.
Thanks to all who supported this special event, especially the sponsors: First National Bank of La Grange, Horizon Wealth Management, Securus Investment Management, Depend on Dean (Dean Rouso Home Team), the Wheel Thing, the Legacy Guild, Palmer Place, Infinity Communications Group, the La Grange Theatre and Jean Sapp, Dennis Reed and Bob Poggensee.
The YMCA has Special Olympic bowling and swim teams at the Greater LaGrange YMCA and are always accepting new Olympians.
