Churchville's new assistant principal confirmed

The District 205 Board of Education recently confirmed Peter Cunningham will be Churchville Middle School's new assistant principal.

ELMHURST – The District 205 Board of Education recently confirmed Churchville Middle School's new Assistant Principal.

Peter Cunningham will join Churchville after teaching at Zion Central Middle School for six years. There, he served as the Social Studies Department chair for the past three years. He also led district-wide initiatives and worked closely with the District 6 superintendent on developing a new teacher evaluation plan.

Cunningham holds a degree in history and secondary education from Illinois State University, a middle school endorsement from North Park University and he recently completed his Master in School Leadership from Concordia University in Chicago.
