WHEATON – For one day this summer, dog owners will be able to enjoy a day at Cantigny Park with their four-legged friend, according to a park news release.

The park will host its fifth annual "Dog Days" event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. It marks the only day of the year when dogs are allowed inside the park.

The event will feature an off-leash dog play area, agility demonstrations, the Windy City K-9 Disc Club, dog rescue organizations and animal shelters, "stuff a dog" craft for kids and more than 70 nonprofit organizations and commercial vendors.

Admission to the event is free with paid parking, which is $5 per vehicle.
