Berwyn Development Corporation to host power luncheon, lecture

The Berwyn Development Corporation will host a Marketing Power Luncheonfrom 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at Pierre's Banquet Hall, 3237 S. Harlem Ave., Berwyn.

This event is a business-centered power luncheon that serves entrepreneurs and localprofessionals with positive engagement, presentations about changes and best practices in the marketplace and encouragement for success. There will be an opportunity to network with like-minded people, enhance connections and learn from each other.

Susan Finerty of Finerty Consulting, will give the keynote address on Resistance, Resiliency, or Reinvention: Choosing Your Path, and will discuss how to deal with change.

Karen Dix of JJR Marketing, will speak on When Word of Mouth Isn't Enough: Get Back to Marketing Basics, and will explore the three key components of effective marketing: understanding your audience, key messages to motivate action and vehicles for reaching your audience.

Jacqueline J. Loewe of Sheridan Park Consulting will discuss Making It About Them, Not You: Building Professional Relationships. Loewe will discuss how to build relationships with your customers or clients.

Early bird registration is $30 and covers lunch along with all three speakers. Register by Wednesday, August 7 at Noon.
