Wheaton Police seek armed robbery suspect

WHEATON – Police are seeking an unknown person who held two people at gunpoint and robbed a Wheaton gas station Saturday night, according to a news release from the city of Wheaton.

The suspect at 10:33 p.m. Saturday entered the Mobile gas station at 1000 E. Roosevelt Road and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at two employees, according to the release. He told them to “give me all your money,” took the money and fled eastbound on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police say the suspect is a black man who is 25 to 30 years old, stands 5-foot-6-inches to 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighs 140 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black work gloves and a black ski mask and was carrying a black gym bag with lettering on the side.
