Burglary reported

A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage between 9 p.m. July 1 and 2 p.m. July 2 in the 400 block of Ridgewood Avenue.

Theft reported

• A Raleigh Talus bicycle was stolen from a backyard between 6:20 and 9:30 p.m. July 1 in the 300 block of Brandon Avenue.

• Tires were stolen from vehicles parked in a parking lot between 3 p.m. July 3 and 7:30 a.m. July 5 at Enterprise, 395 Roosevelt Road. The estimated value of the stolen tires is $11,000.

Driving under the influence

James E. Archie, 26, 33 Briar St., Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to signal at 4:41 a.m. June 30 in the 0-100 block of Briar Street.

Unlawful possession of marijuana

Michael J. Beckley, 28, 660 Avon Court, Elburn, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a stop sign at 8:40 a.m. July 1 at Pennsylvania and Prospect avenues.

Violation of an order
of protection

Thomas J. Centeno, 48, 999 Lorraine Ave., Wheaton, was charged with violation of an order of protection and driving with a suspended license at 7:44 p.m. July 5 in the 300 block of Elm Street.

Criminal damage to
property reported

• A “No Parking” sign was thrown into a window, causing it to shatter, at 7:34 a.m. July 2 at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd.

• A vehicle was scratched while it was parked in a parking lot between 7 p.m. July 1 and 5 p.m. July 2 at 677 Roosevelt Road.

Traffic violation

Sean S. Sajdak, 39, 451 Windsor Ave., Lombard, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license at 1:42 a.m. June 30 at St. Charles Road and Columbine Avenue.
