Heavy traffic expected for DuPage County Fair

With an expected 100,000 people coming to Wheaton to visit the DuPage County Fair, the Wheaton Police Department is warning drivers about potential traffic delays, according to a department news release.

The fair will take place from Wednesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 28, and police say the following areas may experience delays:

• North County Farm Road between West Roosevelt and Geneva roads

• Manchester Road between North County Farm Road and North Gables Boulevard

• Surrounding neighborhood side streets in the vicinity of the DuPage County Fairgrounds
